General Product Questions:
|+| 1. Can I wear my watch in the water?
We pride ourself on making great Running watches and although they are water resistant, our watches are not waterproof. They are not recommended for water sports. However, inclement weather and sweat should not hurt your watch.
|+| 2. Something is wrong with my Soleus watch, how can I get it fixed?
If your watch is still under warranty, you can follow the instructions on our Service and Repairs page
|+| 3. My watch is malfunctioning what should I do?
If your watch is malfunctioning the first step is to reset your watch. Please note that you will lose all data stored on your watch after it has been reset.
**If you have a GPS watch that has the 'Data Upload' feature please, upload your data before resetting if you would like to save your data.
To rest your watch please look at the manual as each Soleus collection differs slightly. Most Soleus watches can be reset by holding down all 4 buttons at the same time for 5-6 seconds until you hear beeping or a series of numbers shows across the screen.

|+| 4. I need help setting up my new Soleus watch.
|+| 5. Can I change the battery on my Soleus watch?
Battery replacement must be performed by an authorized Soleus service center to retain a valid warranty. In addition to battery replacement, the service center will test movement, gaskets, water resilience and hardware, to further ensure the long – term care of your watch.
If your warranty has expired: we recommend taking your watch to a licensed jewelry/watch repair technician for battery replacement. This will ensure the watertight seal on your watch to maintain its water resilience.
If you have a GPS watch: we recommend sending your watch to Parsec for a battery replacement as most jewelers do not have the proper battery or experience with GPS watch battery changes. Even rechargeable units will need a new battery at some point during the life of the watch.
|+| 6. My watch band has broke how can I get my band replaced?
We do not sell watch band replacement straps however, if you are still under warranty you can contact Parsec our authorized watch and service repair company. If your watch is no longer under warranty you can still contact Parsec to have your watch band replaced. The cost will differ on each product.
|+| 7. How do your GPS products work?
The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a worldwide location system that can determine exact geographic location using established satellite technology. The system is made up of a network of satellites orbiting Earth working together with monitoring stations on the ground operated by the U.S. Department of Defense. The U.S. government provides access to the GPS system free of charge for use by companies with GPS enabled devices, so we all share the same information.
|+| 8. Can I view my current and average pace during my run?
Average pace can only be viewed at the end of your run, however, you can view your current pace during your run. Your pace is measured in minutes/mile or minutes/kilometer depending on your Unit selection. ** Current/Average pace are features on our select GPS models.
|+| 9. Can I view my current and average speed during my run?
Average Speed can only be viewed at the end of your run, however, you can view your current Speed during your run. Your Speed is measured in miles/hour or kilometers/hour depending on your Unit selection. ** Current/Average Speed are features on our select GPS models.
|+| 10. The distance on my GPS watch does not appear to be accurate, why is this?
First check to see that your watch is in the correct units. You have two options MILES and KILOMETERS. The distance can look in accurate if your watch is measuring your distance in an unfamiliar unit. Please refer to the Manual specific to your watch for guidelines on how to change the unit.
To reset the watch, press-and-hold the 4 side buttons at the same time for 3 seconds. (Note: performing this action resets all settings and erases all saved data.)
